Ergobaby 360 Baby Carrier Review

Ergobaby 360 Baby Carrier Review

Carrying your baby is not always easy to do – especially when you have hundreds of other things to do while you’re at it. Sadly, however, since babies don’t stick like Velcro to you, then you will have to carry him/her with both hands – and that will leave you unable to do anything else.

However, it’s not that easy to pick a good carrier that will be supportive and keep you comfortable while you are at it. Still, Ergobaby made this possible with their 360 Cool Air.

About The Product

The Ergobaby 360 was made to be comfortable and ergonomic – the perfect carrier for a growing baby. It was created so that it could easily adjust to the baby’s size, so even if you have a newborn child or a toddler, one size was made to fit all of them.

Man Carrying Baby In Ergobaby 360 Carrier

This baby carrier offers superior back support for both you and the baby, with a fairly wide waistband to provide comfort in case you underwent a C-section. This way, the weight will be evenly distributed.

The durable, lightweight mesh is very breathable, ensuring superior comfort to both you and your child during the hot months. You can also easily throw it in the washing machine and deep-cleanse it each time it gets dirty.

The Ergobaby is an all-position carrier, which means that you can carry the baby any way you want. No matter if you want him/her face-in, face-out, on your back, or on your hip, this baby carrier can be adjusted any way you want.

It also has a thoughtful design that allows for easy breastfeeding from the face-in or hip position. Overall, here is a summary of all the features of this carrier, where breathability meets versatility:

  • All-carry positions; you can place the baby face-in, face-out, on your hip, or on your back
  • Comfortable and ergonomic design that promotes good posture for both the parent and the baby
  • Breathable and lightweight mesh that keeps both of you cool during summer and allows for easy storing
  • Easily washable polyester fabric
  • Smart design that allows for easy breastfeeding and protection from the sun
  • It can adjust to every wearer’s size, no matter if you are petite or large

This baby carrier is a great investment if you want to keep your hands free while still having your baby close to you.

The Results

I’m the kind of person that appreciates versatility over everything, so the fact that this Ergobaby model allowed me to hold my baby boy in different positions was a great selling point to me.

There were times when I’d want to keep my baby to my chest as I was walking around, and times when it would be easier to keep him on my back. I do a lot of gardening, so I don’t really want to keep him close to dirt as I’m planting my flowers.

Furthermore, I really appreciated the fact that this is perfect for babies of every age. I bought it for my son when he was born, and I was happy to see that it offered him all the support that he needed – including the neck part.

Ergobaby 360 Baby Carrier Features

Once he grew to around five months, he started squirming in the carrier because he wanted to see the things around him. At that point, he could properly hold his neck by himself, so I took down the patch and turned him face front.

I was worried that his feet would start dangling on the side, but the product offers him proper leg support. If you’re worried about hip dysplasia, this one won’t bring you such problems.

It’s also very comfortable. All of the baby’s weight is evenly distributed, so I have no problems carrying him. My shoulders and lower back feel supported, and the waistband keeps things in its place. Plus, it’s very easy to put on; I don’t even have to ask my husband to help me.

What Other People Say

Most people share my opinion when it comes to the Ergobaby 360, saying it’s very comfortable, sturdy and versatile product.

There have been some comparisons to the other versions of this product, with claims that the cotton ones were more comfortable and softer. For me, however, it was soft enough, and I saw no problem with it.

The general opinion was that this is a very good baby carrier, which is why it has such a high rating. They love that it keeps them cool and that it can easily be folded into a bag. I can agree with them on that.

What We Like

I can’t stress enough on how much I love the forward-facing option. You have no idea how troublesome it is to deal with a baby that is continuously squirming in your arms because they want to see the world.

What We Don’t Like

The only thing that I didn’t like was the fact that the Velcro was annoyingly loud. If my boy fell asleep, he would surely be woken up by the noise the moment I wanted to put him down.

Buying Advice

For a bit under $180, this baby carrier can be found pretty much everywhere online; however, my suggestion would be to buy it from Amazon, since there’s a high chance you can get a pretty good discount on it, along with free shipping.

Plus, for a small fee, you can also get a pretty good warranty for the product.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I really liked this baby carrier, it’s very comfortable, and it’s breathable enough to keep both of us cool during a summer day.

It’s easily adjustable, and I didn’t have to change it when my boy started growing; he sat in the carrier until he was around two years old – then he couldn’t stay put anymore.

I’d definitely recommend the Ergobaby 360 to anyone looking for a good baby carrier since it efficiently combines high quality with versatility.
